About The Scott / Rushworth / Fielding Clan of Lancashire and Yorkshire
Please sign in to see more.
Whilst working at my local college I took a course in genealogy and from that moment I was hooked. It can be hard work, but also very rewarding, when after searching for a relative for weeks/months you eventually find them. Scott/Rushworth/Fielding.......Well, my maiden name was Scott, my mother was a Rushworth and my married name is Fielding.
The Scotts, my paternal side, all came from Lancashire. There is family folklore that a distant relative fought at Flodden, than came south and made his home in Lancashire. True......it may well be, but I have not made the link at present.
The Rushworths, my maternal side, were all Yorkshire folk. They all seemed to be hardworking and law abiding, not a hint of scandal anywhere. Where is the villain in the family? I would love to find a villain.
The Fieldings, my husband's family. Most of them were agricultural labourers, they came north from Berkshire between 1871 and 1881 when there was a decline in farming to find work in the mills.
These are the main names in my tree, the many other names help to build branches, and to be able to find stories about my varied relatives help the tree blossom and leaf.
I hope you enjoy my website and have fun looking around it, as much as I did in creating it.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
